Random Saturday
Things I have done today: Clear all my YouTube history. Now I can loop "Adipocere by Iyowa" 100x per week, and the site won't notice my habit. YouTube had been pesky and putting the videos in autoplay without permission whenever I click on a song, because it assumes "ah this user would be glad if we force them to listen familiar songs for hours" NO. Aside from that, my reason is because I simply spend too much time doomscrolling, especially.. ehm, shorts, without much self-control nowadays. Then I purged unnecessary subscriptions.
Another things I do today: Finally reading last two chapters of Book 9 Apothecary Diaries that I put off for, a month. It's apparently kinda short, why the hell it was difficult for me to pick up my e-reader?! Phone addiction, of course. Before digital detox crowd come to my face and looming over me; "You should be less dependent on technology", I already maintain a journal. Fuck you.
Last thing, also one thing I've been thinking about and I will regret publishing on a random website, is ... my encounters with fellow OC creators were unpleasant, I regard them as "selfish crowd who wants to be heard but won't respond to others" (projection because I'm like that too), their image will be further tarnished. I groaned when I heard some lukewarm tea about the people I'm trying to befriend with are apparently assholes. Will engage less in the community, hm hm. Maybe it's just me being a bitter human and hate seeing performative support.
